Winemaker's Tasting Notes

The cooler climate brings darker flavors of fresh currants, tobacco, black cherry, and wet stone.  The aromas are of rose petals, blackberry, white pepper, and molasses.  The texture is silky and smooth on the palate yet the concentrated acidity lingers seemingly forever. 

Food Pairing

Pair with lamb shank, short rib risotto, or a grilled rib eye.
